
Accountants could face questions on technology and personal finance when they sit for a revised CPA exam set to debut in 2024.
The National Association of State Boards of Accountancy and the American Institute of CPAs released a proposed blueprint for the new exam design that details the skills and knowledge that each section of the standardized test will cover. The changes are part of a multiyear project to overhaul the CPA license to better reflect the technology and data skills that modern accounting requires.
